Many unseen dangers lurk in the oceans of Ghur, from swarms of razorfish to immense deep-kraken. The forces of the Idoneth Deepkin are one of the less well known. Although the enclave of Nautilar has been in Ghur since before the Age of Sigmar, when the great Scaphodon it was build upon moved here, they never involved themselves with the trials and tribulations of the realm, only rising from the depths to raid fleets and coastal villages. This has changed though.

Although not from the ruling nobility of the Idoneth, Agannon has risen to prominence in Nautilar, thanks to his ability in handling the ferocious beasts of the deeps that the Deepkin use as creatures of burden as well as war, eventually becoming the the Enclave’s eminent Beast Master. He commonly rides into battle on the back of a mighty Leviadon, guiding the immense beasts with a skill rarely seen.

Disillusioned with the leaders of Nautilar and their stoic refusal to face the threats rising all over Ghur, Agannon has gathered the troops loyal to him and set out to fight the forces of Chaos, Death and Destruction. Carried by a small fleet of Leviadons the Fangs of the Deep, as they call themselves, now prowl the Biting Sea, harrying the chaotic reavers that infest the Svlind, driving by their ancient hatred of the ruinous powers. Agannon is well aware that such tactics will merely result in a dent in the pirate fleets though. His scouts have learned on the crude ships that Da Choppas have build and of their likely target, the floating city of Khardihr. The relationship between the Idoneth and the followers of Sigmar have been strained, to say the last. And not without reason. All too often it is theirs souls the raids from below the waves harvest. But allies are valuable in these times, and the prospect is too important to ignore.

But even if the people of Khardihr should rebuff their messenger, the Fangs of the Deep and through them Agannon will continue try and scour their enemies from Ghur’s seas.

Middle of the road

‘Sigrid stood at the gates to the inner city, clutching her gun tightly as the people gathered around before the regiment. They all looked rabid and malnourished as they clutched makeshift weapons. They yelled things and threw objects at the gates. The crowd grew louder and larger, and they threw more stones and loose pipes. Until a gunshot sounded, and a man in front of her fell. The crowd roared, and she was swept up in a flood of bodies.’

Assault on the docks

in Barak-Gorog, the nobles fight to control the settlement atop the highest citadels of the inner city, on the skydocks, the skaven of Clan Rhukrit seek to destroy in and out going ships and cargo.
