The forces of Pearlgrave hope to expand their influence into the blood red waters of the Gorelake. Beneath the crimson waves of the Gorelake, great aquatic beasts hunt and kill each other. The Drowned Emperor seeks to add these predators to his army and use the aethersea to send them against his foes. However, the people of the lake don’t enjoy the idea of soul-stealing neighbors and call King Elrog for aid. The Towering King needs to feed his growing army and the creatures of the Gorelake will make a fine meal indeed.
This quest allows you to gain a reward by fighting alongside one of the warlords. Either Veinir the Drowned Emperor of Pearlgrave or King Elrog of the Towering Court. You do not need to have settled in either of the Warlord’s areas in order to fight alongside these warlords. Please indicate which Warlord you are supporting in the comments below.
If you had pledged to a Warlord in the second phase, you are not required to support them in phase three. There are no mechanical consequences for not fulfilling your pledge to a warlord. However, you only have one other chance to support this warlord. If you do not support this warlord at least once during the campaign, you will be labeled as an Oathbreaker narratively
Vorghya & the Unfractured fighting for the Towering Court.
The Green Order has decided to work alongside Pearlgrave, but from afar. After a number of… incidents, it has become clear that these particular Aelves of the deep are not as ready to accept Grandfather’s blessing after all. Many of them complained considerably as they were given a blessing. This seems to have put the Emperor in a bit of a mood, and so the Order has decided it would be of use best if we attacked from opposing sides when it came to combat, and bless the waters the Aelves don’t use as much. Just at first. This should allow them to more slowly see how wonderful Grandpa is, and get used to the beautiful waters that he can provide.
As such, the Green Order has been at work in the settlements around the lake. Preaching of the unnecessary advent of hope, and how true freedom comes when we embrace the Facts of Life. There has been some good success in the villages, with many turning to our lord, and spreading his blessings out from the town and into the lakes.
Unfortunately, we have met strong resistance out in the field, and, as usual, it was the forces of death that have been most unhelpful. We may have lost a few if the fights out there, our very first real losses, but still, life will eventually overcome all!
