Cyclestone Empowerment

"What do you mean it looks the same? Less of your cheek, and go stick something with it - you'll soon change your tune." Deep in Shyish, within the Cursed City of Ulfenkarn, adventurers can find what's been called "Cyclestone Alloy". If one could get their hands on this alloy, then their weapons would be all the more powerful!

Game Master Notes

These notes exist to help you run through the Quest. They are put here by the creator and should give you some direction as to what they had in mind when they created the Quest

My only recommendation is to go nuts with the setting here. Ulfenkarn is a great one, and there's plenty you could do to really set the game well. Even better if you can face off against a Soulblight force.

If you complete the Quest, give your artefact a name, and chuck it here in the comments! 😀

This Quest will have you or your warband seek out a treasure of Ulfenkarn, what’s known as Cyclestone Alloy.

No matter the system you’re playing, this game must be located in or around the city of Ulfenkarn, and thus set in Shyish.

If playing Age of Sigmar

Pick 1 artefact of power that your, or the Soulblight Gravelords, faction has access to. If playing Path to Glory, it should also not be present in your roster.

If playing a Path to Glory game:

    1. Add 1 quest point to the progress section of your quest log for each friendly unit wholly within your opponent’s territory.
    2. In addition, you can spend 1 glory point to gain an additional quest point

Once you have gained 3 or more Quest points, you complete the Quest.

Regardless of whether or not you’re playing Path to Glory, if you win the game, you complete the Quest.

If playing Warcry

Use the Victory Card “The Raid”. If you are victorious in “The Raid”, you complete the Quest. If you are not, you can play a second game.

In your second game, use the Victory card “Steal the Prize”. If you are victorious in “Steal the Prize” you complete the Quest.

Rewards

Sometimes a Quest creator will tell you what you get for completing the Quest, depending of the outcome of course. If there is nothing, you can obviously create your own rewards, ahhh… imagine the possibilities…

If you complete the Quest:

In Age of Sigmar

You gain access to the Artefact you chose. Add it to your vault if playing Path to Glory.

In Warcry

Gain 1 Artefact of Power

Have you played through this Quest or Rumour?

If you’ve played through or resolved this in any way, be sure to tell us right here on the Quest page, we’d love to know what happened!
