Escape With The Amberstone

Following the daring heist of amberstone from the Stormcast of Drakheim, cultists of The Fell Dragon race to reach safety from their oncoming pursuers. You've been tasked with diverting or disrupting the Drakheim defenders' attempts to recover the stolen amberstone.

Game Master Notes

These notes exist to help you run through the Quest. They are put here by the creator and should give you some direction as to what they had in mind when they created the Quest

This is a Campaign Quest for Week 2 of the Curse of The Fell Dragon Path to Glory campaign. Unlike normal Quests for Path to Glory, a Campaign Quest can be taken in addition to the normal Quest currently undertaken by your warband.

If you win a battle while undertaking a Curse of The Fell Dragon Campaign Quest, you can establish an outpost to gain the veteran abilities, prime monster abilities, and Thondia Territories, as well as mount Thondia scouting expeditions, as featured in pp. 67-70 of Seasons of War: Thondia.

The agents of The Cult of The Fell Dragon conduct a dangerous relay of their stolen amberstone throughout Drakengrad. While the Stormcast were occupied defending the native Ghurian aelves upon The Hungering Steppe, elite cultists secured the realmstone and escaped to their homeland. Now, they race towards the Mausoleum of the Gods, hope to reach the security of their headquarters to seal the doom of Drakheim. You are to assist the cultists in their flight, and impede the defenders of Drakheim by any means necessary.


Rewards

Sometimes a Quest creator will tell you what you get for completing the Quest, depending of the outcome of course. If there is nothing, you can obviously create your own rewards, ahhh… imagine the possibilities…

For completing this Campaign Quest, your warband will earn the respect of the Warmaster of The Cult of The Fell Dragon for aiding their cause of destruction. In addition to any rewards from your warband’s current Quest, you receive 6 Glory and your Warlord gains 1d6 Renown.

The Hungering Warherd was yet again beset by enemies whose death did little to sate their hunger. After the battle with the ghost like creatures from the local village, the herd decided to eat 3 of their own bestigors for fleeing from battle. It appears that someone or something is forcing the warherd to conflict within the realm, but it is still unknown who is pulling the strings. Driven by a curse of unending hunger and bloodlust the warherd moves on seeking battle and blood.
