More and more adventurers are entering the Glymmsforge Catabombs of late, rumour has it there is a lost artefact of great power hidden down there

Game Master Notes

These notes exist to help you run through the Quest. They are put here by the creator and should give you some direction as to what they had in mind when they created the Quest

The Glymmsforge Catacombs are long, silent avenues that stretch for miles on end with great mausoleums that had been carved into the sides of the curving tunnels and among the hills of the crypts. At the centre of these avenues can be found both Stormcast Eternals and Mortal priests, the later with faces daubed with ash and sacred unguents as they murmur constant prayers following a pattern laid down by Pharus Thaum, seneschal of the Ten Thousand Tombs. Each one of the twelve great thoroughfares of the catacombs has its own bells, with their own distinctive tone.

Your Quest is to delve deep into the Catacombs and seek out the treasures within. Time has long ago obscured any real information of what you can expect to find down there, but whatever you find, surely it will be powerful, or at the very least sold for a good profit.


Rewards

Sometimes a Quest creator will tell you what you get for completing the Quest, depending of the outcome of course. If there is nothing, you can obviously create your own rewards, ahhh… imagine the possibilities…

Depending on the games you’re playing, these seem like they’d be cool!

Aqshian Flamewood Stake: Even the incorporeal forms of gheists are immolated in flames when a sharpened stake of Aqshian Flamewood is driven into them.

Give this item to a Hero to carry. At the start of the combat phase, you can choose for the Hero carrying this item to use it. If you do so, pick 1 enemy model within 1″ of this Hero and roll a dice. On a 1, nothing happens. On a 2+, that model is immediately slain. Then, the Hero that used this item is no longer carrying it.

Potion of Aqua Ghyranis: Filled with a liquid that sparkles like ground crystal, a few drops of this potion can heal grievous wounds in an instant.

Give this item to a Hero to carry. In your hero phase, you can choose for the Hero carrying this item to use it. If you do so, heal all wounds allocated to that Hero. Then, the Hero that used this item is no longer carrying it.
