Halt the Resurrection

With the Free City reconstituted as best as Drakengrad's brief calm would allow, its defenders stand ready to oppose The Cult of The Fell Dragon's attempts to resurrect their dead god. You've chosen to head up one of these forces, marching out to one of the Sentinel Bones to disrupt the ritual.

Game Master Notes

These notes exist to help you run through the Quest. They are put here by the creator and should give you some direction as to what they had in mind when they created the Quest

This is a Campaign Quest for Week 5 of the Curse of The Fell Dragon Path to Glory campaign. Unlike normal Quests for Path to Glory, a Campaign Quest can be taken in addition to the normal Quest currently undertaken by your warband.

If you win a battle while undertaking a Curse of The Fell Dragon Campaign Quest, you can establish an outpost to gain the veteran abilities, prime monster abilities, and Thondia Territories, as well as mount Thondia scouting expeditions, as featured in pp. 67-70 of Seasons of War: Thondia.

If you are participating in this Campaign Quest and are playing against a player apart of The Cult of The Fell Dragon, please use Battleplan: The Ritual (Core Rules p.332) to simulate the battle, with the player aligned with the Free City of Drakheim acting as the Disruptor.

If you are participating in this Campaign Quest and are playing against a player who is unaligned, please use Battleplan: The Trap (Core Rules p.331) to simulate the battle, with the player aligned with The Free City of Drakheim acting as the Ambusher.

The Free City of Drakheim stands ready to fight their sworn enemies once again. After taking advantage of the calm within Drakengrad to rebuild, agents of the Free City caught wind of The Cult of The Fell Dragon’s plan to perform a ritual making use of the Sentinel Bones to resurrect their dead god. This operation will span the whole of Drakengrad, and require every army’s participation to disrupt. You’ve chosen to take on this task in a leading role and foil The Cult’s ruinous plot.


Rewards

Sometimes a Quest creator will tell you what you get for completing the Quest, depending of the outcome of course. If there is nothing, you can obviously create your own rewards, ahhh… imagine the possibilities…

For completing this Campaign Quest, your warband’s valiant efforts to disrupt The Cult of The Fell Dragon’s plot will go down in Drakheim legend. In addition to any rewards from your warband’s current Quest, you receive 6 Glory and your Warlord gains 1d6 Renown.
