The Free City of Drakheim has been short-handed as of late. With The Children of The End Times’s excursion to Ghur to seek out a legendary, godbeast-slaying sword ongoing, the Freeguilds remaining within the city are barely enough to manage the city’s usual enemies in the restless dead, much less the threat of The Cult of The Fell Dragon. As outside armies are drawn into Drakengrad, the Freeguilds see opportunity to recruit aid in ferreting out the Cult’s latest schemes. You are to survey the lands outside of Drakheim’s walls, either to help them in managing common threats, or uncover the machinations of The Cult of The Fell Dragon.

With your interest in joining Drakheim's defense, local Freeguilds see opportunities to apply these extra hands to their everyday work. You've been tasked with scouting the regions outside the city's walls and to report any activity that seems out of the ordinary.

This is a Campaign Quest for Week 1 of the Curse of The Fell Dragon Path to Glory campaign. Unlike normal Quests for Path to Glory, a Campaign Quest can be taken in addition to the normal Quest currently undertaken by your warband.
If you win a battle while undertaking a Curse of The Fell Dragon Campaign Quest, you can establish an outpost to gain the veteran abilities, prime monster abilities, and Thondia Territories, as well as mount Thondia scouting expeditions, as featured in pp. 67-70 of Seasons of War: Thondia.

Rewards
Sometimes a Quest creator will tell you what you get for completing the Quest, depending of the outcome of course. If there is nothing, you can obviously create your own rewards, ahhh… imagine the possibilities…
For completing this Campaign Quest, your warband will earn favor with the Freeguild Companies present within Drakheim, who will tell of your deeds to the Lord-Aquilor of the local Stormcast Chamber upon her return to the city. In addition to any rewards from your warband’s current Quest, you receive 6 Glory and your Warlord gains 1d6 Renown.

His regiment was still recuperating after defending a sizeable stash of Shyish Black-salt that cultists stole from nearby village. They found it in the forest, completely abandoned. And then the undead attacked. So many of his soldiers got injured for a pile of spice. At least their victory earned them the gratitude of the villagers and their loyalty. And Jorik felt in his bones that soon Drakheim would need allies badly…
