Soulbound Artefacts
Throughout The Great Weave you will come into contact with various other artefacts. Some of these you will earn by accomplishing heroic feats or going on Quests, some you will find while on your journey. Below you will find the various artefacts and the rules that accompany them.
These are specifically for the Soulbound system, you can find artefacts for other systems under the “more” title in the menu
Artefacts within the Weave come in three kinds, Exotic, Unique, and Awakened.
Exotic Artefacts
Throughout The Great Weave you will come into contact with various exotic artefacts. These artefacts are very rare, but not one-of-a-kind.

An arcanoscope is a mystical device that allows those without Witch-Sight to observe magical energy while also rendering its constituent colours visible. They range in size, complexity, and accuracy from simple monocle-sized versions to massive contraptions larger than an Ironweld Steam Tank. The astromancers of Azyrheim keep the secrets of their construction close.

This simple staff channels the aether into a devastating beam.
Melee Weapon: 1 + S Crushing, Two-handed
The wielder of the staff gains the Luminary Rod (Light) Spell.

Range: Medium Duration: Instant
Overcast: -1 Armor per additional success
You direct the bound up energy at an enemy within Medium Range. The beam of light bursts on impact, swirling around the enemy, turning their armour into gleaming prismatic dust. Each success removes -1 Armor from the target. The target’s armour is permanently damaged and must be repaired.

A kronuscounter is a derivative gadget specifically designed to monitor the levels of amethyst magic present in a given area. They’ve been added to many observatoriums and more advanced arcanoscopes since the Necroquake. A skilled reader can use one to track an Endless Spell and potentially reveal the presence of ethereal undead.

In times of need, this richly ornamented piece of jewellery becomes a dangerous weapon.
Whenever your Toughness is at 0, Damage from your attacks is doubled. This is done before subtracting your target’s Armour from your Damage.

Exotic Artefact - Azyran
This mysterious device is used by the astromancers of Azyr to see the flow of magic through the realms. An array of cogs, dials and bizarre instrumentation, ringed by the sigils of the eight winds of magic, allow those with the skill to interpret the workings to gauge the levels of each magic present in any given place – and the spooky hourglasses are designed specifically to count the levels of amethyst magic in the wake of the Necroquake.
Unique Artefacts
Throughout The Great Weave you will come into contact with various unique artefacts. These artefacts are one-of-a-kind within The Great Weave. If an artefact already has an owner, then it is considered ‘found’ and so unattainable unless that owner transfers to artefact to another.

If the weapon deals Damage, the target is set on fire. They suffer 1 Damage at the start of their turn, which ignores Armour. The target remains on fire until they use an Action to extinguish the flames.
Magmadroth Blood Vials

If properly contained, magmadroth blood retains its deadly properties long after the beast it belonged to is killed.
Magical, Blast (2), Loud, Range (Medium)
If the weapon deals Damage, the target is set on fire. They suffer 1 Damage at the start of their turn, which ignores Armour. The target remains on fire until they use an Action to extinguish the flames.
