Spoils and Plunder

The cessation of Rondhol’s slumber has brought terror to the denizens of the continent. Towns all along the Svlind have been destroyed, and those that call the other side of the Bitingsea home look to the northern horizon - and flee. This is the Mortal Realms though, and as such, there are plenty that are willing to use this terror to their advantage…

Game Master Notes

These notes exist to help you run through the Quest. They are put here by the creator and should give you some direction as to what they had in mind when they created the Quest

This Quest is part of the Revenge of Rondhol event. It’s intended for those that are a little more interested in using the events of the awakening of Rondhol to further their own (probably nefarious) goals – whether that be taking skulls for the skull throne, or removing coin from the pockets of these new refugees. Remember, Quests are flexible, so you can also use this same Quest to battle against those that are capitalising on the suffering of others.

- The Weaver -

The moving of the Svlind, and the repercussions of it, are massive. Although a number of factions are now in wholesale emergency mode, rescuing fleeing citizens, providing transportation, and otherwise attempting to help in an event that seems hopeless, there are still plenty of cutthroats, thieves, warbands, and rouges that see this as an opportunity. From pirates that now prowl the churning Bitingsea, looking for the stranded, to mercantile opportunists that prey on the desperate, there’s coin to be made, and blood to be spilt here.

Rewards

Sometimes a Quest creator will tell you what you get for completing the Quest, depending of the outcome of course. If there is nothing, you can obviously create your own rewards, ahhh… imagine the possibilities…

With all the destruction and mayhem, there is plenty of treasure and riches to go around, it’s just a matter of finding those with what you want… and taking it!

Have you played through this Quest or Rumour?

If you’ve played through or resolved this in any way, be sure to tell us right here on the Quest page, we’d love to know what happened!

After being bloodily repulsed by Seraphon freed up by Sorrah Nikos’ cowardly truce (Warcry Templar defeat), Templar forces under Templar Captain Areshtur the Ardent prepare to leave the city of Civilia behind, and disrupt Seraphon operations based out of a captured Slaaneshi vessel on the biting sea.

The Holy Flame burns bright and strong as the Templars continue their operations in Rondhol, attacking Seraphon supply lines and using saved refugees for their own plans.
The Archprophetess, meanwhile, has a new plan for the Templar Captain.

(Hobby report – Miniature of the Archprophetess)

Under Sepideh, the former first mate of the late Pyresoul, the Templars have intensified their efforts to bolster their ranks by recruiting chaotic warbands lacking direction in the aftermath of Rondhol’s awakening and Nikos’ betrayal, using the wealth aquired in the Dell and by their recent piracy on the seas. To what end exactly, is unknown as of yet.
