Thank you for helping create The Weave! Below you’ll find our Story Creator tool, here you can submit stories, Battle reports, and even hobby reports.

These things will not be accepted into The Great Weave:

  • Storylines that directly contradict the overall AoS Narrative (like killing Nagash, or eliminating Chaos from the Realms)
  • Racist or sexist material (with some basic, obvious, exceptions to do with standard speciesism like Duardin not being fans of Aelves)
  • Explicit/capricious/extreme/sexual violence to minors (Allowed: “Enemy ‘A’ killed Hero’s child.” Not Allowed: Explaining in detail how that was done and all the horrible things that were done to that child)

Please be aware, that although you could infringe (in a number of ways) on other creations in the Weave, we ask that you contact the relevant writer/creator on Discord before doing so. It’s the right thing to do. By default, all heroes are safe from killing unless permission is given.

Please take note of the Category field. When selecting a Category, please select all ‘parent’ categories as well please.

Additionally, note that the tool isn’t perfect, and will occasionally error out. Please copy your text before submitting to avoid any possible loss. Please.ย ย

  • Below you'll find a selection of Categories to give your post. What you select here determines where on the site your post will show up, so select all that you think will apply. Please do not select any other sub-category unless you're fully aware of why you're doing so.

    Stories in The Great Weave


    This form is specifically made for creating Stories or News. It is also great for creating battle-reports, or even hobby-reports you find don't fit into another catagory. As such, the first Catagory you'll select will be "The Great Weave".

    After this, you'll then select either "Campaign Stories" if you're writing for a specific event, or the Mortal Realm that the story takes place in.
  • We run a small "news" podcast that keeps people updated on all things The Great Weave. Occasionally we'll actually highlight stories within the Mortal Realms. But we won't do this without your permission.

  • Tags for Multi-level Creation


    Use the below tool to add your own custom tag to the creation. This is only helpful to those that are also using the Multi-level Creator. Always use the exact same tag for those creations you want to have show up together. It is case-sensitive.

  • This the name of the story you're writing
  • This is a summary of what what you're submitting. This is best kept around the three-sentence length.
  • The following field is the primary post content. This is where you would put the 'meat' of the creation whether it's a short story, a battle report, or the hobby report. Be aware that you can format headers here, upload images to show a hobby or battle report, or even link to other creations both within The Great Weave and elsewhere.
  • This is it, this is where you would put the 'meat' of the creation no matter what you're creating
  • The Featured or Character Image is the MOST important image to include in your submission. For Characters, Heroes, and locations it's shown on the actual post itself, front and centre. For all submissions, it's used on Realm pages and other links throughout the site.

    Be sure to note that for story posts, the image you choose here will not be in the post itself, if you'd like that, be sure to include it above in the Story field.
  • Upload the main image of your post (if you get an error, check that the image is less the 5000kb, AND one side isn't over 2000 pixels
  • The Header Image goes in the header of your creation and makes the post looks super cool. You can use the same image as your character image, but it's usually better to use an image related to their faction or team. As such, it's not required, but I promise you you'll want to put something here!
