Templar Captain Areshtur the Ardent

A Tzaangor Enlightened serving as the Captain of the Templar vessel "Pyresoul", it has been Areshtur's mission to bring the Archprophetess Sytarith the Intricate to Furyoth Dell, to follow her visions in the name of Our Burning Savior.

With the Pyresoul anchored in the harbour of Civilia, he and his Tzaangor Corsairs have taken to undertake expeditions as well, to maintain the supremacy of Chaos forces in the area.

Do not destroy without permission

Born into a feral Tzaangor tribe, Areshtur had already become an Enlightened when his tribe made contact with the Templars of Our Burning Saviour. Intrigued by the power and deeper understanding these heavily armoured fellow Tzaangor possessed, and the change they offered, Ateshtur was one of the proponents of joining their ranks, especially since the Templars intended to exterminate the nearby hated tribe of Nurglites and to burn down their territory.

Due to his accomplishments during this campaign Areshtur was formally inducted into the ranks of the Templars, and bestowed upon the epithet of the “Ardent”.

As the strategic situation called for the creation of a naval force, Templar Areshtur was soon given command of a newly built warship and ordered to disrupt trade and travel in the area; thus, Templar Captain Areshtur became a Templar Corsair, and he took to the lifestyle immediately, making his Tzaangor sariant Warrior crew a force to be reckoned with.

The “Pyresoul” is his latest command, a fast and well-armed ship built to act independently, just as Areshtur likes it.

It may be regrettable that she has to lie in the harbour if Civilia for now, but the Templar Captain will surely find something to occupy himself with.

Middle of the road

‘Sigrid stood at the gates to the inner city, clutching her gun tightly as the people gathered around before the regiment. They all looked rabid and malnourished as they clutched makeshift weapons. They yelled things and threw objects at the gates. The crowd grew louder and larger, and they threw more stones and loose pipes. Until a gunshot sounded, and a man in front of her fell. The crowd roared, and she was swept up in a flood of bodies.’

Assault on the docks

in Barak-Gorog, the nobles fight to control the settlement atop the highest citadels of the inner city, on the skydocks, the skaven of Clan Rhukrit seek to destroy in and out going ships and cargo.
