A massive creature has begun appearing throughout the realms, enemy of all, leaving army and city alike decimated.

Game Master Notes

These notes exist to help you run through the Quest. They are put here by the creator and should give you some direction as to what they had in mind when they created the Quest

After your first game “researching” the godbeast, be sure to comment below with who fought in your battle, and your leader’s name

- The Weaver -

The creature is some sort of cross between a ship, and a tentacled godbeast/creature/ship. Nobody knows where it’s come from and it seems to be able to get inland relatively easily, moving up through bedrock as easily as it does through water.

Rewards

Sometimes a Quest creator will tell you what you get for completing the Quest, depending of the outcome of course. If there is nothing, you can obviously create your own rewards, ahhh… imagine the possibilities…

Rewards will be driving the story forward initially, and possibly more later. You’ll need to play to find out.

Borgut had just come through a gnawhole in the middle of the tundra. Not only that but a really weird tentacle throne, monster ship thingy was surrounded by a bunch of ghosts. Naturally, Borgut wanted the ship for himself so he went headlong into battle. As soon as he arrived a tentacle nabbed him and promptly launched him right into the thick of battle. The losses were grievous, as wave on wave of undead crashed into their ranks. A lone Warchanter made is way onto the ship. I wonder what he discovered…

Borgut’s sacrifice Warchanter has found what can only be described as a “mix-em-uppa of da greatest orda!” His report back includes:

“Da ship is infak an airship, one of dem tings dat floats above us ‘eads. Buuut, it also be a bucket of souls. A big bucket as well; full to da brim and bursting wif all of dem screaming and jabbering.”

Borgut knows this may be all that could be found out by his Warchanter. A more… knowledgeable approach is probably needed. Bringing an ally into the next battle is encouraged, one that has more intimate knowledge about soul-stuff would be a good way forward, or one that knows about the comings and goings around airships.

(Ignoring the ‘legality’ of Allies may be necessary…)
