The Dross Fray

Protagonist’s Description: Above average sized Gor, massively built shoulders and arms from years of metal beating in the workshops of Brak Zhagoul, but with a twisted spine and a back covered in lash scars. Since embracing Nurgle, his skin colour changed into a bluish, deathly hue and outbreaks of pus filled boils are common.
Protagonist’s Agenda: The Dross-Fray were liberated during a raid by the Dross-forged into the bowels of Brak Zhagoul. They are guided by a daemon, a Poxbringer that answers to the name of Verrucatius, and they ultimately aim to return to Brak Zhagoul in order to fight into the centre of the city and place death’s heads into the cisterns and water supplies.

Protagonist’s History: A typical beast tribe, captured during a raid by Chaos Duardin and taken in chains to Zharr Vyxa. Eventually traded with the lords of Brak Zhagoul and chained to anvils, beating iron into weapons for their masters. Beasts do not make for good slaves, they are creatures of the wilds, hunting, stalking and eating what they kill. Trapped within the epitome of order, they began to lose their minds, gradually succumbing to despair and depression. Offered the strength to survive by the daemon Verrucatius who sensed their despair, the beasts turned to Nurgle.

Protagonist’s Motivations: Razkhos, as a Beast, is definitely motivated by an instinct to tear down and destroy the sites of order throughout the realms. This is given further fuel by his personal experience at the hands of the chaos duardin for which he expects revenge. However, since turning to Nurgle, his revenge motive has subtly changed to one of generosity, to share the gifts of his lord to all those who deserve to receive them.

Protagonist’s Objectives: Return to Brak Zhagoul with the Blade and fight his way to the main water cisterns, in order to pollute them. His ally Verrucatius is searching for magical artefacts for a ritual elsewhere in the realm.

Protagonist’s Connections: Daemon Poxbringer, known as Verrucatius. It seems to be manipulating the fray towards its own ends.

Protagonist’s Abilities/Specialities: Brute strength and incredible resilience to pain.
