The Lost Archipelago

 

The Lost Archipelago exists as a pocket realm, attuned and connected to all eight Mortal Realms. Here, you’ll find a robust new world, full of kingdoms vying for control and power.

This brilliant campaign can be found in the link that follows, all characters in the Great Weave can move over to the pocket realm, but beware, right now it’s not technically possible to get back!

What follows on this page is the current Prologue to the story of the Lost Archipelago, and a map of the world.

The Lost Archipelago World

Prologue

You are one of the first Outsiders to step onto this world. Wild untamed continents lay before you with no signs of civilization. Most of the native denizens you encounter come from Insane Ravenous Warbands that attack you on site. Traveling through the Realm Gate should not have brought you here, and no matter how hard you try, the gates will not let you go back to the Mortal Realms. A hard decision now lays before you. What to do now?

 

The day grows long, and much remains unknown. In the end, you decide to wait and see what a new day will bring. You set up camp outside the Realm Gate as the last rays of sunlight fade away. A dark figure shrouded in robes emerges from the night and approaches your camp. Reluctantly, you grant it an audience. The figure speaks to you in a low gravely voice…

Welcome, Welcome, WELCOME! dear friends, to the Lost Archipelago. Your arrival has been expected for some time, I was almost worried that you weren’t going to make it hmmmmmheheh. Allow me to offer you a small gift, and some wise words. The World lays before you ripe for conquering. You can settle these lands, forge a mighty empire, and bring glory to your name. Introduce a bit of civilization to the wilderness as it were? I am sure that if you establish yourself, the locals will leave their savage ways behind and flock to your rule hmmmmmheheh. Or, perhaps you wish to ravage your way across the world, burning everything in your wake? In that case you will find an abundance of mad recruits mustering to your banner. After all, there really is no difference between fame and infamy is there?

If riches be your goal, then there is plenty to be found in the roots of the world. Be careful not to delve too deep though, you never know what lurks below hmmmheheh. However… Maybe… You are interested in forbidden knowledge hmmmm? A way home Perhaps? Well then, a long road lay in front of you. But, perhaps you will succeed? If you are relentless in your search then I am sure you will find the Secrets you desire tucked away in the dark corners of the world.

Well, my time grows short, and there are many more Leader’s that I need to greet. Oh, you did not think you were the only one, did you? A world by yourself would be awfully boring. What you do to these “Others” is up to you, kill them, burn them, submit to them, rule them… it matters very little to me. Now I must take my leave, don’t worry, I will be checking in on you from time to time. We shall all be watching your journey with great interest hmmmmheheh.

With that, the robed figure leaves, disappearing into the darkness, but not before setting down a small sack in front of you. Looking inside you see Ten rough diamond-like Realm Stones. They emit bright and colorful neon lights that draw in your gaze. You close the sack and look to the horizon. The encroaching dawn marks the beginning of your grand journey.
