The locals of Vandalheim, no matter their race and including the Duardin themselves, seem to believe local Duardin to be cursed. Because of this, they are shunned from society completely, even going so far as to forcibly lock them away from public view. If Vandalheim is to thrive in the Age of Sigmar, this strange outlook needs to be figured out, and if at all possible the locals need to be re-educated.

Game Master Notes
These notes exist to help you run through the Quest. They are put here by the creator and should give you some direction as to what they had in mind when they created the Quest
I obviously know what has happened in the past that has caused this to happen. If you’re a GM looking for information, feel free to message me on Discord. If you’re a player wanting to pursue this, you can use the information here and in the comments to set up a standard game (of Warcry or AoS). No matter what the outcome of the game, message me on Discord, and I’ll give you more information!
Rewards
Sometimes a Quest creator will tell you what you get for completing the Quest, depending of the outcome of course. If there is nothing, you can obviously create your own rewards, ahhh… imagine the possibilities…
The locals of Vandalheim understand that their tales are localised, and as trade opens up in this new age, they have become uncomfortable with their own history of hate. Anyone who can help them move past this would be quite indebted to the town
Have you played through this Quest or Rumour?
If you’ve played through or resolved this in any way, be sure to tell us right here on the Quest page, we’d love to know what happened!
A strange Duardin of Fyrslayer birth was recently found encased in amber in northern Argentoise. The Duardin, known as Sunrack has been encased in the liquid since the Age of Myth, and remembers very little indeed as to what has happened. Maybe it’s connected? Maybe not?
Cheez Hunks has managed to free a number of enslaved, or at least physically shunned, Duardin within the city. The locals put up no fight, and have since allowed the Duardin to roam the city unmolested bar some very strong side-eyes.
The group has also worked out that the Duardin have some sort of amethyst magic woven into their souls, with no knowledge as to how to remove it. Legend amongst the group seems to indicate the involvement of Neferata, or at the very least a strong vampire, generations ago. They claim to be cursed
The curse of the Duardin seems to have something to do with “the Realm itself punishing them” for their hubris, overconfidence or some such thing.
