The Pioneers of the Storm

The Pioneers of the Storm are led by Hengtund Jerinsson and accompanied by a Codewright  and a group of Skywardens who are tasked with making sure that they really are following the Kharadron Code.

When Jerinsson originally approached the Admiral’s Council of Barak-Udum with the offer of returning seventy percent of his fleet’s stolen goods as well as giving them a fourteen percent share of any future profits for the next ten years in exchange for a pardon on any crimes they had committed up to that point, he was refused. After three days of debates and negotiation, they agreed on an eighteen percent share under the condition that for the same period of ten years, his skyfleet would also be accompanied by a group of Skywardens and a Codewright that would immediately report any knowing violations of the Kharadron Code.

Nowadays, they have also been joined by the Aether-Kraken Brotherhood, a company of mercenary Endrinriggers that were the only ones willing to work with former pirates.
