Skarra Spinebreaker has arrived at the procession, led by the Burning Crusade. She has arrived as a representative of Khrovar Blackmaw, a major force of Chaos-aligned that prowls the Bitingsea and is generally a power that it pays to listen to. Spinebreaker suggests that the procession move towards the Bitingsea. She suggests this simply because of the movement of the Svlind, as it crashes towards the southern shorelines, making it clear that it would be better to take advantage of the eventual destruction along the shorelines. There’s lots of treasure, thralls, and skulls to be found for those willing to make the trip.
The Procession of Blood
Game Master Notes
These notes exist to help you run through the Quest. They are put here by the creator and should give you some direction as to what they had in mind when they created the Quest
This Quest is part of the Revenge of Rondhol event. It’s intended for those that generally align themselves with Chaos, or who are actively fighting against this “procession”.
Really, the question you’ll be asking yourself is whether or not you’ll join in the procession that moves further into the Dell, that’s fighting the Knights of the Chalice, and returning the Amber Blood you find? Or do you instead lean on the wisdom of Blackmaw, and choose to take advantage of the destruction occurring on the Bitingsea?
Warcry Instructions
You can complete this quest in step 4 (pg 105 of the Core Rules Book) of a campaign battle’s aftermath sequence if your warband won that battle or by spending 5 glory.
Path to Glory Instructions
At the end of a Path to Glory battle, you complete this quest if any friendly units are wholly within 4″ of a battlefield edge and wholly outside of your territory.
Alternatively, at the end of a Path to Glory battle, you can spend 1 glory point to complete this quest.
Rewards
Sometimes a Quest creator will tell you what you get for completing the Quest, depending of the outcome of course. If there is nothing, you can obviously create your own rewards, ahhh… imagine the possibilities…
What you choose in terms of where you move your force will change what you’re able to do in subsequent Revenge of Rondhol Quests.
In addition, if you play with Path to Glory:
When you complete this quest, make 2 exploration rolls in the aftermath sequence of that Path to Glory battle instead of 1.
And if you play as a Quest in Warcry:
When you complete this quest, you can add 1 ally, thrall or fighter with the Hero runemark to your warband roster (you must still spend the glory required to do so).
Have you played through this Quest or Rumour?
If you’ve played through or resolved this in any way, be sure to tell us right here on the Quest page, we’d love to know what happened!
Angatoa Kravyads could hardly believe his own eyes, but then what else should be expect from sorcerous Tzeentch filth…a Monolith flying over the Furyoth Dell followed by both worshippers of Tzeentch AND Daemons of Khorne… Khorne!
Enraged by this, he calls forth his Knights of the Charnel Order to make haste and approach the procession carefully. Upon his person and amongst his Knights, many carry devices designed to cancel out sorcerous influence and with enough of his Order spread out amongst Khorne’s Daemons, Angatoa hopes to cancel out whatever spell is preventing them from attacking the sorcerous slaves of Tzeentch.
If that doesn’t work, then there’s always the tried, tested and true methods of Khorne himself!
Archprophetess Sytarith addresses the whole Procession in response to Spinebreaker’s offer, challenging their priorities.

Sariant warrior scouts commanded by the first mate of the late “Pyresoul” Sepideh clash with a Fae-manipulated wanderer warband while patrolling alongside the path of the Procession of Blood. After a hard and bloody struggle, the Tzaangor crusaders prevail, emerging victorious. The wanderer survivors are repelled and the Procession informed about the enemy movement at its flanks. Countermeasures are undertaken immediately.

Urgoth comes to a decision on where to krump.
Decisions : The Great Weave

Templar preachers accompanied by Slaughterpriest Skaeron Gorecleaver preach among the undecided and proselytize those who do not understand the Undivided Majesty of the Monolith and the Sacredness of the Procession’s Holy Cause.
The strangely heroic Tzaangor warrior below here helps them by showing off the cool loot he got in the Furyoth Dell.

Urgoth marches on the Dell, following the path made by the Templars. Along the way he crushes bands of Knights gathering on the path and reflects on recent additions to his forces.
On Da Trail : The Great Weave
Intro: Snagruk smiled as the Fae knights came into view. He rose an arm as a silent signal to the boltboy beside him and they fired in unison, dropping one of the knights.
Aftermath: Grimhak darted under the Knight’s shield and struck out, his hacka glancing off his enemy’s armor. The Knight swung his flail, entangling the gutrippa’s shield. Smiling, the Fae Knight yanked the Kruleboy close and raised his sword for the kill…
Snagruk cursed as he saw the Gutrippa fall. The ambush had gone well initially but the goal was to draw them in, not get stuck in a stand up fight they couldn’t win. “We certainly did get der attenshun, at least” he thought. Snagruk ordered the retreat, knowing the Fae Knights would follow the fleeing Orruks right into the loving choppas of Urgoth’s mob up the road.
Warcry Game: Kruleboyz vs Blades of Khorne representing Fae Knights. Kruleboyz win 2-1 but the last turn is a rough one for the Orruks.
The last couple of days of the march were uneventful for Sepideh and her scouts.
The Archprophetess had ordered her to guard the back of the procession, mostly to hurry on stragglers and to prevent any clashes between the more undisciplined parts of the procession and the large force of Orruks who served as their rearguard, having become a part of the procession in their own way by now.
Now though, a host of flesheater ghouls, easily misled by the Fae in their delusions descended upon them with animalistic fury – the fighting was brutal and deadly, but in the end, Sepideh’s scouts stood victorious, mostly due to the raw might of the Khornate Blood Master, who spilled blood in great streams that day.
