Sorrah Nikos, along with Ratcyst Gall and other allies, have begun to move the large amount of equipment used for their experiments onto floating devices. They have been all but abandoned by their Chaos-follower counterparts, though they still hold a tenuous alliance with Blackmaw. The Bearbulge has also since arrived at the city. This ship had owed allegiance to Targug the Cleaver, but has since been re-acquired by Carminnio as it holds a large void-canon that used to belong to the Xarlanth. Although initially used by The Hounds of the Inquisition of Umberspire as a defensive measure within the Mountains of Maraz, it has since been moved to provide assistance Carminnio’s fleet. This is clearly an existential threat to those that would seek to hold the city – those that possess this weapon will hold nothing back once all is set up.
The Rising Flood
Civilia’s Ruin has begun to degrade further; the waters of the Bitingsea flooding the city to greater measures due to the Svlind moving towards the southern shores. Those within the city can no longer ignore this threat.
Game Master Notes
These notes exist to help you run through the Quest. They are put here by the creator and should give you some direction as to what they had in mind when they created the Quest
This Quest is part of the Revenge of Rondhol event. When considering this Quest, you’re asking yourself about whether or not you’d sabotage Nikos’ efforts – either directly, or via the fleet of ships under Carminnio? Or do you help her hold the city and continue her experiments with Amber Blood?
Warcry Instructions
This is an ongoing quest rather than one that is completed.
While embarked upon this quest, you earn 1 additional glory in step 1 of each campaign battle’s aftermath sequence for each enemy fighter that was taken down in that battle.
Path to Glory Instructions

Rewards
Sometimes a Quest creator will tell you what you get for completing the Quest, depending of the outcome of course. If there is nothing, you can obviously create your own rewards, ahhh… imagine the possibilities…
What you choose in terms of whether to support Nikos (and her allies), or not, will change what you’re able to do in subsequent Revenge of Rondhol Quests.
In addition, if you played Path to Glory:
Once you have gained 3 or more quest points, you complete this quest. When you complete this quest, you gain 10 glory points.
