A species of monstrous zebu, who carries waters in its great humps (yes, several, depending on how far along in its journey it is). It can cross any river, unharmed and walking on the surface of the water, for it carries sustenance for someone very important, though it cannot… or will not… reveal who. Anyone who attacks a Zhef will be met by its desperate struggle to escape, to the point of recklessness and disregard for its life. The few cornered Zhefs have taken their lives, somehow dying the spot with no discernible cause.
