Calik Shadowhull

Mistrustful Bounty Hunter of the Concealed Riddles.

A young Duardin cadet looked across the deck of the Frigate and was in awe. “Pick up that jaw before I weld it shut!” yelled the Company Captain. Turning to see what the young Duardin was gazing at. “Ah, I see.” The Company Captain sighed but went on to tell the tale. “Not many know the true origins of Admiral Calik. His past is surrounded in mystery, some believe it’s concealed to add to his reputation whilst others believe therein lies a sinister past which he doesn’t want revealed.

What is known for certain is he was born and raised within the realm of Ulgu, on a small Barak-Mhornar skyport of Volgril.
He first appeared within the ranks of the Arkanaut Company assigned to a Barak-Mhornar Frigate. The Captain of that Frigate took him under his wing as he saw much potential within the young cadet. This was demonstrated many times over as there were no challenges he deemed unassailable and always pulled through with innovative solutions.

Calik became known early on as someone who’d keep to himself until he had a pint or two down him and only then would you see a glimmer of the person he tried so hard to conceal. However as time passed and Calik rose through the ranks to company leader, he became obsessed with investigating long lost secrets, be they artefacts or long forgotten places of power. This obsession became paramount when the Barak-Mhonar skyport Barak-Agin ventured into the realm of Shyish. Still assigned to the Frigate and captain Yalk, he insisted on venturing to a location which wasn’t on a known trading route… this is where the tale becomes fuzzy. Bah maybe another time.
