He made a plan to recover Vendell Blackfist’s fabled hammer and present it to Khorghus Khul in an attempt to win favour with the powerful Chaos lord. In the process he defeated the Gregorians Stormhost and captured Fort Ignis, giving Sigmar a bloody nose and increasing his renown. He recovered the hammer only to find that it was an ordinary hammer with no unique powers as he was promised, however, Khorghus Khul was impressed by his aggression and cunning and made him Lord of Fort Ignis with the duty to subdue the Brimstein Heartlands in Khorne’s name.

He has successfully fought and won many battles across the Brimstein Heartlands and this has led to the local tribes joining him in worshipping Khorne, although they don’t fully understand the true nature of this Chaos God.

Through bloodshed and violence, Chartrek has managed to open the Penterage Rift, a direct link through the void to the Realm of Chaos. An attack by the Gregorians, reinforced by the Slann Starmaster Cerradura was easily beaten with the assistance of the Iron Gollums of Dominar Halstein of the Varanspire.

Chartrek Beastamer was last seen entering the Penterage Rift and his current whereabouts is unknown.
