As the powers of life grow ascendant, the followers of Nagash and his allies now find themselves on the back foot. Including those that haunt the crypts and forgotten places in the wilds of both Nasson and Neolotl. That said, those that delve into the depths of shyishian magics have foreseen a great resurgence, brought to you by the great Nagash in the form of a coiling snake in the dark. Drekazra the Unbowed is one of these, a necromancer that now seeks to raise an army of the dead to take the city. You have seen the citizens of Nassollotyl begin their preparations, and deduced their attempts to subvert Nagash’s plans. It is time to call on the never-slept and secure the power that rightfully belongs to you.

The Seraphon successfully defended the city from the Soulblight Gravelords.
More details on T4tcliff’s comment.
Drekazra the Unbowed has found a temporary alliance in Belladamma and Radukar the Beast. He charged them to attack the city of Nassolottyl. This did not go as planned, They planned a surprize attack, but was surprized by a preemptive attack by the Seraphon forces. Belladamma and Radukar lost a lot of forces very quickly, but left some skeletons and zombies dormant in the area before they had to retreat. For now Seraphon won and moved parallel with the city walls looking for more dead to raise and attack.
Teren-ra’s Soulblight Gavelords managed to out maneuver defending Stormcast Eternal while trying to access a hidden crypt to raise more deathrattle skeletons.
After moving near the wall in secret, Belladamma and Radukar sensed many corpses worth raising. Could this be a good place to attack? After scouting a little, Radukar discovered a large force of humans and a large bird. “Cities of Sigmar” Radukar whispered and retreated to prepare for Battle.
Radukar and Belladamma moved in to attack, but the humans were ready. “Were they warned by someone? There is no way they could have seen me.” Radukar growled. “It must have been those star gazing lizards who warned them.”
Quicksilver swords through a spell portal greeted them as disgusting life giving vines rose beside some of the human forces.
Little balls of lead pelted the skeletons and zombies as the heroes hid for cover.
As the first volley of lead stopped, Radukar shouted, “Rise!” as Belladamma simultaneously yelled, “Go eat, my darlings!”
Skeletons warriors and Grave guard rose out of the ground behind the the enemy forces and attacked. Dire wolves rose all around Radukar and a vampire lord on that majestic zombie dragon charged in.
Belladamma yelled in surprize, “They cancelled all of my spells! How? Who?” And cold fury shone in her eyes.
Zombies quickly closed the gap and began eating at the lead ball shooters before they could get a defensive shot in. The Zombie Lord and his dragon attacked, but every bit of damage he did was healed by that living green endless spell.
The enemy’s big bird nearly killed the dragon before he retreated. The reinforced zombies were all nearly killed by a single spell infuriating Belladamma even more.
But the sheer number of death overwhelmed the humans. And the humans retreated.
Radukar and Belladamma won the battle and proceeded to feed on the captive human soldiers.
“It is a pity some of them escaped. I am hungry” Radukar said.
“Dont worry. Drekazra still needs our help, so we will feed more soon.”
Soulblight Gravelords won.
The Inquisition of Umberspire scouted the wastes near Nasson for suitable burial grounds from which to gather fresh troops. Their soul-navigators located a font of power nearby, which when aligned properly would be able to help channel the local leylines, and making a raising ritual expand twenty-fold.
But such objects of powers are rarely left undisturbed for long. A long-abandoned statue of a saint, rising from the dust, stared out at them… its runic inscriptions containing wards of protection…
gleaming in the sun, with the shine of ur-gold.
And sure enough, just over the crags, mere minutes away, came a gaggle of gold-branded fire-duardin.
Led by one of their nobles, mounted on a growling magmadroth… whose steps melted the ground into glass.
The Inquisition Temple-Knights charged quickly to circle the ur-gold relic, securing it against a charging band of the gold-sniffers, led by a spinning-and-jumping scarred veteran who most surely must have been tired of life by then.
The mad old duardin was stopped in his tracks by the rising shadow of The Chained, who promptly bit his head off.
Inquisitor Sinestor made sure to drag The Chained Shadow to Ghur this time around, and was not disappointed to find how much the Realm of Beasts amplified its rage and hunger.
With the statue secured, the Knights Unremembered retreated with the relic, but were given chase by the magmadroth bounding in their direction, its rider puffing with fury and eyes almost popping out of his sockets. The Inquisition’s newest Knightly unit, the Betrayers of Iscarion, swept in to deflect its charge, and their souls were almost dissipated completely, if not for Keeper Zindimir’s steadfast spellwork.
In the nick of time, after sating his hunger on the remaining stragglers and quickly flying away from more duardin waving very flaming halberds in their hands, The Chained Shadow pounced on the magmadroth, its death-grip chilling the lavabeast’s heart long enough for the knights to finally wear it down.
Ignoring the duardin noble’s shouts and impolite invective, the Inquisition calmly retreated from the battle, carrying the relic statue with them to where it can be put to better use.

Having secured a relic of power to energize their ritual, the Inquisition of Umberspire surveyed the wastes between Nasson’s path and Neolotl’s cradle, in search of valuable souls to raise for Drekazra’s war effort… but always with the goal of adding more valuable minds to the Soul Library.
Zindimir’s soul prospectors finally found an ancient barrow from the Age of Myth. Their ghost vessel, The Shifting Shrine, hovered silently as the Inquisition Knights followed its witchlights to their new discovery. Within the ruins of an old keep, two lingering sources of powerful soul-energy were entombed… The task ahead: to break into their crypts, rip their spirits out of Shyish and bind them into the Library’s service.
But, once more, no good find goes unchallenged.
With a thunderous roar and blinding lightning, a detachment of thunder warriors crashes into the ruins, standing in the way of the Inquisition’s Knights. Materializing from lightning bolts, the Stormcast warriors form a line defending one of the crypts. And leading their advance, her wings unfolding, was the Celestial Spear herself.
Yndrasta, the prime-huntress of Azyr, had come to Nassollotyl…
And to these crypts in particular.
For in this mission, she led the warriors of the Medicus Stormhost: reborn priests and field-surgeons, they are those who mend the pains of reforging, the unnatural scars on a stormcast’s soul.
“Well… these souls must be really something else, to drag these fine folks here.” thought Inquisitor Sinestor, the witchlight in his eyes narrowing. “They must be ours. Do NOT break! Form up!”
Ordering an immediate closing of ranks and forming a tight battleline, the Champions Unremembered stood with their greatswords at the ready. Crawling up the side of the ruins, the giant hulk of the Chained Shadow stood ready to pounce.
Sigmarite crashed into rusted steel and ethereal flesh, and a lightning charge coursed through the Inquisition’s ranks… miraculously, Keeper Zindimir’s guiding flame and Sinestor’s iron will saw the gheists fell one armored Eternal after the other, until only Yndrasta was left to face the Chained Shadow head on… The Shifting Shrine closing from the side, in a pincer attack.
A fierce duel ensued, with the sigmarite spear Thengavar not finding purchase on the gargantuan ghost’s body, the dominating will of Sinestor unshackling the Chained Shadow’s deepest despair against the powerful hunting instincts of Yndrasta… And the Prime Huntress started to give ground. Sinestor could not believe what he was seeing: the Inquisition was holding their own against Azyr’s Spear herself! But before he could get any more suspicious about it, he failed to see the descending Annihilators who crashed onto his rearguard stationed at the crypt, felling them completely.
Before the Inquisitor could order an about face, the hulking warriors ripped the reliquary itself from the earth, and made off with it in a bolt of lightning from some Azyrian magic. The other crypt was already in the process of being cracked open, the saintly remains within in the hands of Sacrosanct experts and out of the Inquisition’s.
The Stormcast Eternals staged a slow retreat, a smile on the face of Yndrasta, having taken what she came for.
“Clever, very clever. No matter. This barrow is still full of fodder for this war.” mused the Inquisitor.
“We will have other opportunities. I dare you to bring those two back down, reforged… Because if you do, we will make sure … we cage their souls forever this time.”
Sheathing their weapons, the Inquisition set about the business of raising troops from the grand barrow that surrounded them, having secured the location for Drekazra… and reinforcing the old keep into a new base of operations.
