Diamondback Rapids

An infamous maze of rivers and roaring waterfalls, the Diamondback Rapids offers a swift route from Rondhol to the northern reaches of Lendu. Yet few are foolish enough to risk this shortcut, for the waters of the rapids are filled to the brim with fist-sized shards of rock as sharp as razors. Those unlucky enough to be swept away are flayed alive in the course of a few agonising moments. Natives of the region believe the rivers of the Diamondback to possess a particularly vicious sentience, for they seem to change course at a whim, dashing travellers against the canyon walls or smashing down upon a vessel to swallow its crew.

Hunting Animals

The attackers have launched an ambush, led to the hunt by a pack of loyal and well-trained beasts.

Before the first activation in the first battle round, each fighter in the warband of the player who won the priority roll can make one bonus move action.
Their Move characteristic is 3 for that move action.

Realm Rules:

Pirate Fleet: At the start of the first battle round, after the players have received their starting command points, you can say your general attempted an alliance with the local pirate fleet. If you do so, roll a dice. On a 3+, add 2 to the Move characteristic of friendly units in that battle round. On a roll of 1 or 2, subtract 1 from your command points (to a minimum of 0)

It’s Only Business (Kharadron Overlords Only): You always count as having less points than your opponent for the purpose of determining which player can use a triumph during the battle. If Good Eating (below) is also active, then roll off.

Defend the Wilderness (Sylvaneth Only): Add 1 to wound rolls for attacks made by friendly units if they are wholly on a terrain feature and wholly within your territory.

Good Eating (Ogor Mwatribes Only): You always count as having less points than your opponent for the purpose of determining which player can use a triumph during the battle. If It’s Only Business (above) is also active, then roll off.
