Escarosht the Adamant

Templar Champion Escarosht the Adamant is the leader of the forces of the Templars of Our Burning Saviour on the Slidecrown Isle. As his forces' mission was to pursue and eliminate a fugitive, the enlightened Aviarch's forces mostly consist of lighter units than is usual for Templar forces.

After the successful siege of Bilemire Keep it fell to the Templar Champion Eskarosht the Adamant to lead a detachment of Templars of Our Burning Saviour in pursuit of the fugitive Countess Phthisis, a depraved Nurglite sorceress, and her disease-ridden entourage.

Even after several months and multiple skirmishes, the Countess has time and again managed to barely slip through the Templars’ claws.

Finally, Escarosht has tracked her path to the Slidecrown Isle – and apparently, the Countess is not the only one drawn to the Isle’s natural prosperity. There are rumours of many armies and warbands converging upon the island – amongst them a concerning number of Nurglites.

While their ultimate goal is as of yet unknown, Countess Phthisis and her fellow Nurglites’ plans most certainly involve corrupting the lush forest of Slidecrown Isle and gathering its fabled artifacts.

The Templar Champion meanwhile has resolved to thwart them by using those who are naturally opposed to the Nurglites’ invasion – the protectors of the island.
