From the Jungle they Arise

Oct 3, 2022

The Weaver

They may have come from the stars, but they kill from the darkness within the jungle.

The seraphon have finally reared their heads, death now stalks Rondhol as lines of seraphon survivors begin to make themselves known. It began with rumours, adventurers not returning, lights off in the jungle in the middle of the night, screams from the gloom. But then, all of a sudden, the reports started to fly in – full enclaves of seraphon warriors moving across land. These reports were not localized either, some had been seen as far north as the Mountains of Maraz while others claim to have seen some along the river Att. Most notably, rumours of a huge temple raft had come out of the Furyoth Dell, though how solid those rumours are remain to be seen.

Regardless, the seraphon on the Xarlanth seem to have survived to some degree, and they’re both creating defensive potions around their wreckage sites, as well as making offensive maneuvers to dissuade possible pillagers. The sections of the ships that still had working weaponry have been turned to face the possible routes of attack, while traps of every imaginable configuration have been set up around their camps. Rondhol was dangerous before now, the Furyoth Dell possibly more so than other places, now though… now every step closer to the ruins of the starborne brings you closer to death.
