Halard Jasten was a Cult of Tzeentch leader in the city of Brightspear. He had used powerful Chaos magic to keep “The Shimmering Tower” from being detected, all the while bolstering the cult’s forces. The cult had been kidnapping those that wouldn’t be missed from the streets and bestowing the gifts of Tzeentch upon them, transforming them into Tzaangors.
Team Sparkles managed to find the tower though, gain access, and defeat the powerful sorcerer. That said, the tower still haunts Brightspear’s streets, its outline just visible against the sky, but the entrance has vanished. For now, at least, the tower and its occupants are no longer a threat.
