A lumbering ogre-sized orruk creature, with lightly glowing leaf green eyes, slowly stomps through the underbrush, clumbsily ducking low hanging vines and boughs. The skin of the orruk looks rough and bark-like, with small branches and nettles sprouting from craggy shoulders, massive even for the standards of the greenskins. As an axe-fall rings through the jungle, the beast’s body tenses with violence, the green of its eyes flashing a deep emerald and leaf green life-light pulsing in the deepest crags of its tree-like skin. It springs to action, barreling toward the unwitting woodcutter, branch-crack and wood whine singing from the creature’s skin as its bulk expands. Not far away, you hear other tree-roars and stomping charge, twinges of emerald and leaf light flaring in the depths of the jungle. Best stow your hatchets for now, Crew.
Nobody knows where the Jade Furies come from, whether they be cursed sylvaneth or some other oddity of Ghur, but they fall on interlopers of the jungle with vicious ferocity.
