Queen Kerasys, the Feral Tide, of the Exiled House of Calanzar, was once vassal of Veinir the Drowned Emperor. She studied necromancy under his guidance whilst caring for her family. Kerasys believed that necromancy was the key to keeping her namarti children safe from the battles to come. The undead would fight in the stead of the Idoneth and her family would be protected.
Unlike most of the Idoneth, Kerasys believed that the namarti were deserving of the basic rights given to other Idoneth lucky enough to be born with souls. This caused issues between her and Veinir, as the Emperor of Pearlgrave sought to turn all of the namarti into an undead legion. By eliminating the need to sustain the soulless aelves, Veinir would be free to devour the captured souls himself.
When she discovered this plan, Kerasys fled the Hungering Steppe with her family and sought a new home. As she explored Ghur, she discovered Vorpos, an abandoned baby draconith, and has begun to care for it. She quickly arrived at the Bleeding Wilds and sought out the necromantic energies that called to her.
Here, she discovered the Underbough Sepulchre and their trove of unborn draconith. Kerasys has pledged herself to the cause of Necromancer Drakenot in the hopes that she can raise these draconith as she has raised Vorpos and create a family that would make the realms shudder.
