The kill team takes out a free guild patrol just outside the city and takes the uniform off the corpse and hides the body in a ditch alongside of the road, and then they march inside the city with first part of the mission accomplished successful undetected.
Ready themselves with the next task of killing any military officers and bureaucrat that they can find and get away with killing them there first target was a local free guild commander who was guarding the city gates they had located him by following a free guild patrol back to their barracks there they would wait for the chance to eliminate their first target after waiting until it was early morning first target quietly one of the kill team slip into the free guild commander officer private room and cut his throat as he slept and planted false evidence that he was leader of a secret chaos cult inside the city and then the killer left the room and went back the rest of the kill team then the all sneak out of the barracks this where Asarathu orders them to spilt up and kill the target so that they can get the mission done quickly, and they can escape the city.
Asarathu next target was a notable Engineer who was working on the city’s sky port. Asarathu stalking the Engineer all the way back to the his home after he located the house of the target Asarathu decided that in order ambush he steals clothes from a nearby washing line as disguise himself as local thug to make the killing seem like it was robbery gone wrong the Engineer was killed in a panic attack by desperate person who had to rob him in order to survive the chaos inside of city caused by the corrupt nobles.
Asarathu carried out the attack like he had planned and fled to a nearby side street followed by a guard patrol who spotted him trying to flee the scene then chased him down the side street where he turned around and killed then couple of guards who had chased him left behind several corpses of free guild soldiers this is not part of the ambush plan that he planned for, but it played into his overall strategy inside the city, and he could use it for the rest of the mission as he could play a role of an assassin who was hired by one of faction leaders and was spotted by the city guard carrying out a hit and was forced to kill the pursuers and their allies would be forced to hunt down an assassin who was lurking somewhere in their city after he had killed them he ran down the side street and turned on the main road where he turned into an inn where he could hide from city guard until he was ready to leave the city.
The other members of the kill team were also killing their targets with their professional skills and tactical training also located a couple of other weapons supply stations that they were able to safely carry out a search and destroy mission putting the blame on one of the leaders of the different groups who were responsible for the city day to day running and this caused fighting breaking out in the streets and causing casualties to civilians and free guilds this when the kill team decided to evacuate and wait until the get their next orders. Asarathu as well decided to it time to evacuate and take off from rising violence rapidly growing across the city meet up with the rest of team as they all waiting for general Agronā to arrive and begin the assault.
