Krondspine Range

Submitted by:

Grubbo

A massive mountain range in Central Thondia that wraps around Lake Everglut. This gargantuan range was made from the fossilized remains of a long perished lupine Godbeast. While the sight is daunting from afar, many would exclaim that the greatest terrors exist within the mountains itself. Vicious Gargants, Orruks & Ogors battle constantly. Demonic specters haunt the few mortal settlements that exist. Spirits slayed by Demonic blades centuries ago, inflicting their fury across anyone who could cross their path. Perhaps most terrifying are the Krondspine Incarnates

Warcry Twist Rules:

  1. Eerie Silence: Nothing plagues this battlefield except the lone, distant cry of a forsaken wolf.

    This twist has no effect.

  2. The Moutain Lives!: Things grown in the mountain, and made from materials that grow in the

mountain, seem to take on a hostile life of their own. Each time a fighter finishes its activation

within 1" of a terrain feature, roll a dice. On a 1, allocate 3 damage points to that fighter.

  3. Defensive Battle: Fighters cannot focus wholly on killing their foes when every step in

Krondspine leads to something hungry. The fight is simply to stay alive. Subtract 1 from the

value of abilities (to a minimum of 1) used by fighters this battle.

  4. Wolf's Vengeance: Blood surges from fresh wounds and pounds in your ears, your pulse like

an angry drum beat. You will avenge yourself. Add 1 to the Attacks and Strength characteristics

of all fighters in this battle with 1 or more damage points allocated against them.

  5. Battle! Glorious Battle!: You can feel it! Your warriors, their pulse pounds with the call to

WAAAR! Add 1 to the Attacks characteristic of attack actinos made by fighters this battle that

have a Range characteristic of 3 or less.

  6. WAAAAAAAR!: “Don't you hear the drums? We've got a lot of killing to do, so LET'S GET

KILLING!” Once during the battle, each player can use the 'Inspiring Presence' ability without needing or using any ability dice

A Templar expedition sent into the Krondspine Range encountered an opposing warband of Nurglites fighting for the Desraki Dominion.
Equally matched in the beginning, the Tides of Fate slowly turned in the Templars’ favour, leaving many of the foul-smelling scum dead or running. Searching the bodies, it became apparent that once again, Baron Bubonicos had sent his minions against them.

The Templars Cleansed the corpses in Fire before continuing on their journey.

While patrolling the Krondspine Range, Templar forces encountered an Aelven Lumineth expedition, no doubt planning to involve the Krondspine ghosts in the war.
After a long and bloody battle, the Templar ambush succeeded to shatter the expedition, taking their cathallar leader and her apprentice prisoner in the process.
