In the age of myth Arthur and the House of Keldenor were staunch defenders of the early free cities in shyish for Sigmar and the death god Lauchon. The first slight against them was sigmar allowing Nagash to slay and devour the other death gods including there own which Nagash could not entirely defeat so he shattered Lauchon and cast his essence across the cosmos. Then came the beginning of the age of chaos and Sigmar abandoned them to the coming onslaught. Has the last of his people died around him and his kingdom came crashing down Arthur cursed Sigmar and vowed vengeance for the betrayal of abandoning his people, and with that the foundation of the Emerald curse was set. Centuries past and the age of chaos came to a end, and the rise of Nagash began with the birth of the Shyish Nadir and the resulting Necroquake completing the curse that Arthur had pledged centuries ago raising him and his people from the dead has vengeful spirits. Unfortunaly they were under the control of Nagash and Lady Olynder Mortarch of Grief. Arthur raged quietly about the forced servitude but waited for the “god” of death to over step, and over step Nagash did by fighting Teclis in the realm of light which seen Nagash defeated and the ritual of life cleansing the realms and inadvertently freeing Arthur and his people from Nagash’s control.

Now with him and his peoples freedom they seek to gather the shards of Lauchon and exact revenge of Sigmar and Nagash.
