No one is sure where the honorific Lord came from, or who or what Dracothfoote is Lord of. The title seemed to appear around the time that Dracothfoote stayed in Anvilgard. It is assumed that the title is something to do with this period of his life.
When Tarnos Brightmane launched his rebellion in an attempt to take control of the High Council, it was Dracothfoote that was chosen to oppose him. During the political battles that followed, many said that Dracothfoote’s focus on obtaining gold in favour of food was a mistake, but in the end, he won out, proving his doubters wrong and expanding his influence further.
Dracothfoote now claims the title Tithe Master of Sigmar, although no one is really clear as to what this involves. He has struck a deal with the Kharadron Overlords of Barak Nar Bonehaulers Company, bankrolling their expanding operations to provide bone for the tithe demanded by the Ossiarch Bonereapers. They now act as his corporate transport and enforcers as well as conducting their own bone collecting activities, doubtless with Dracothfoote taking his usual cut.
One thing is for sure, Dracothfoote has grown in wealth and power over recent years and has become a favourite of Sigmar, being called upon for advice and to carry out certain clandestine quests. The recovery of the Secret of Dinorwig being the most recent.
However, it appears that Dracothfoote has not always been so well-intentioned with lying, cheating, and extortion having all been used in the past to achieve his ends.
