His soul somehow survived and sealed away in the sands of Shyish. Luck or fate had it that his soul was friend sometime after the Necroquake. It was there his south was Found by Arkhan and forged back into it's former greatness. It was Arkhan then that exalted him to the status of Leige of his own Legion.
