Mercurio Bild is a constant disappointment for Mannfred von Carstein. Terrible vampire, even worse spy and a really awful journalist. But even he has his uses. This time Mortarch of Night sent Mercurio to Rondhol to either acquire its riches or die trying – either outcome will be good for Mannfred. Mercurio arrived in the city of Khardihr and quickly convinced naive noble Valerian Celesti to organise an expedition to the Furyoth Dell. Now he has to face the dangers of Rondhol, while true envoys of Mannfred work in the shadows….
