Cunning, patient, long-finned bottom feeding amphibians that can grow as big as an auroch, or sometimes a wyvern. They are capable of speech but do so very seldomly, yet have incredible singing voices. Their singing can be heard at night, when they come up from the swamp to surface and frolic. One song particular to them is a cheerful tune about a hunter’s daughter eloping with an aelf prince. It is said that those who come close and stay to listen are never seen again.
