Once, there was a grand flying city named Khardihr, which fell over Rondhol during the events of Revenge of Rondhol and was, in the end destroyed by crazed Sylvaneth and Khornates.
The people of Rondhol evacuated, at least the ones who could – the rest was left abandoned, to fend for themselves in a hostile environment, all but certain to perish and find a violent end.
Hope returned, though, when Vardeshir the Solemn and The Templars of Our Burning Saviour arrived and saved the people from a certain death.
New Khardihr is the settlement founded by the survivors of Khardihr within the Templar Crusader State. Others, mostly former Desraki slaves, have joined them in their endeavour, and so the town has grown considerably, safe under the guardianship and control of the Templars.
Grontemon Bullson, a very serious but kind human, was the survivors’ leader during the hardships of their travels and has been voted mayor of the city, closely working with New Khardihr’s Templar guardians.
