Chloranthy is a Melusai, the last Melusai of her bloodline in fact. When she was but an egg, the coven to which she belonged was slaughtered and all the other eggs destroyed, save hers. The invaders were that of the Shadowsong Khaininites, who, feeling scorn at Morathi’s betrayal, struck at the heart of the Queen’s followers in the realms.
The names and places of Chloranthy’s coven are lost to time now, but what is known is that Chloranthy was adopted, raised and trained in not only ranged and martial combat but also shadow-magics by an unknown noble-ranking Shroud Queen of the Shadowsong clans. Chloranthy would eventually learn by unknown means of this betrayal and in turn slaughter the very coven that raised her but that she had also come to resent due to being an outcast for her melusai looks.
Still remaining loyal to the Shadowsong cause however and using all of her combined skills of combat and stealth, Chloranthy has carved out her own piece of the world to reside, and wage war in. Known as a terror on the battlefield and rumoured to petrify men in fear if they ever actually do see her face in combat, commanding her own shadowy warrior coven, Chloranthy fights with the longbow, hidden daggers and shadow-magic.
Chloranthy now believes that Sigmar’s Dawnbringer Crusades are the only force large and capable enough to defeat Nagash after the Necroquake, much to the chagrin of her peers and advisors, and has formed a hasty, if not foolish alliance with the God-King’s Crusades in Ulgu.
