The Heresiarch’s Synod
A loose crowd of squabbling cultists, aspiring warriors, rogues, thieves, and scoundrels all seeking the blessings of the Chaos Lord Andal the Heresiarch, leader of the Many-Colored Band. Andal has entrusted command of this riotous assembly to the Goroan Myrmidon Hashrakul the Interfector. Hashrakul feels little but contempt for the fanatics and aspirants under his command, and has dubbed them the Heresiarch’s Synod. Sadly, the raving prophets and fanatics that lead the warbands tend to be too illiterate to notice the sarcasm.
The Synod’s warbands represent a broad swathe of cultures and creeds attracted to the forces of the Everchosen and the creed of the Undivided. Their ranks include Pintado warriors of the Darkoath, crow murder-cultists, the self-mutilating torturers of the Remade, the warmongering Coin Lords and others besides, giving the Interfector a broad, enthusiastic, if unreliable pool of manpower to work with on the raiding expedition into the Slidecrown Isles.
