After weeks of propaganda and recruiting several ghyranite mercenaries for the Delarosa Bloodied Knights cause, the Evening Moon’s printing distribution had become too powerful a tool to be left alone. Expecting this outcome, Lawgiver Amondenora of the Umberspire Inquisition had ordered them to be surveilled since the beginning of the Concendia campaign, to assess their capabilities.

Local superstitions in the editorial camp, of missing quills and other stationery, misplaced chairs and paperwork, abounded but nobody suspected the silent spectres that hid by in the shadows, unseen. The Inquisition’s Men in Black prided themselves in discretion and information gathering.

Now, at this late hour, as all armies converged towards the center of the island, and the Bloodied Court’s intelligence on the island’s secrets grew, it was time to hit their intelligence logistics operation.

Swiftly, the Men in Black emerged from the shadows as they surrounded the Evening Moon’s office camp in Apuovia. Their ogor mercenary bodyguards, however, mounted a quick response: a testament to the effectiveness of the propaganda campaign in attracting quality mercenaries.

The battle was long and drawn out, and head editor Mercurio Bild managed to escape in the fray, but many of the camp’s infrastructure was either torched or looted. The Inquisition forces quickly withdrew after their primary goals were achieved, though they learned the cost of facing the Evening Moon’s mercenaries. The armies of the Bloodied Court presented a formidable challenge, and a retribution would surely come at some point.
