The Fae’s cloak-and-dagger maneuvers in Rondhol have been an enigma to most. But with their recent activity of acquiring Amber Blood from the land, as well as their constant meddling, their presence has become more and more apparent. Finally, the Fae have revealed their intentions.

Utilizing the bulk of their Amber Blood reserves, the Fae have tamed a titanic monster from the Age of Myth, dubbing it the Voidfang. This ancient behemoth dominates the terrain, leaving a path of destruction in its wake. On its back, the Fae have erected a bastion of formidable proportions – the Fortress of the Chalice – their holy of holies, and the last of their stockpile of Amber Blood.

The method in which the Fae achieved this feat is nothing short of magical ingenuity. They have harnessed the anti-gravity technology of the Xarlanth to levitate the Fortress of the Chalice, situating it atop the monstrous back of the Voidfang. Creating a floating citadel of unimaginable strength, the Fortress of Chalice pours Amber Blood into Voidfang, allowing them complete control over the creature.

Voidfang looms over the dense jungle, its massive form obscuring the green canopy below, the magic that initially hid the creature a testament to the Fae’s incredible powers of concealment. Its six legs, each the size of towering trees, crushes the verdant foliage beneath its colossal weight as it moves through the underbrush with terrifying ease. The ancient fortress that rests on its back like a crown was once the proud seat of an empire that ruled over the entire valley, but now it serves as the Fae’s bastion of power allowing them the perfect vantage point to crush their now-numerous enemies.

Deep in the ruined fortress, past winding tunnels and treacherous traps, lies the Grand Chalice. The minor chalices that are brought from across the continent are emptied here – their precious content of Amber Blood added to the immense metal vessel that sits at the center of the chamber. The Grand Chalice is a wondrous sight to behold, a massive, circular disk, yards in diameter, with a pointed orifice at the top that leads to its bottomless depths. It floats on a central pillar, its surface glinting with a thousand prismatic hues, as if it were a window to another world. The Fae guard it with utmost vigilance, for they know that the Amber Blood is the key to their continued dominance over Rondhol.

However, the Burning Templars’ movements have forced the Fae to act sooner than they had planned. They are now using Voidfang as a weapon against their enemies, pushing the beast north towards the Mountains of Maraz, heading straight for the Procession.

As if the threat from Voidfang were not enough to the security of the land, the Svlind has completely re-flooded Civilia’s Ruin as it moves through the Bitingsea. The Rondhol forces, along with the cities of Khardhir and Civilia’s Ruin, have failed to return enough Amber Blood to the land. The land’s awakening may have slowed but has not ceased – the Svlind’s movement persists, putting the entire region at risk. The fate of Nikos and her allies remains unknown as well, and the ruthless Targug has already taken advantage of the chaos by deploying his forces to ransack the shoreline. Meanwhile, Brinnok has turned a blind eye to all calls for aid.

With time running out, the forces must act fast to minimize their losses. Will the cities look inward and start fortifying their defenses? Who amongst those left in Rondhol will simply retreat from continental upheaval? And is there anyone that will attempt to confront the monstrous Voidfang? The inhabitants of the land must make their decision soon, or they risk losing everything.
