Valka, the Warmonger

Within the Interstice, Valka, the Warmonger was a bloodthirsty warlord from the Beastland Wastes. Throughout his life he sought a challenger who could best his capabilities however none could. For decades he laid low Orruk bosses, Chaos tribe chieftains and all manner of creatures within the realm of Ghur. His followers feared any respite for is wrath was beyond compare. However when he was in the heat of battle there could be none better to inspire men to attack with everything they have. It was not until one fateful night when he stumbled upon a tribe of Khorne worshipers that he felt compelled one more time to throw his might into this foe. Theirs numbers far outweighed that of his but his ego wouldn’t be beaten. He charged headlong into the enemy seeking their leader. The combat was fierce on both sides. Valka slaughtered until he found his challenger, a bulking bear of a figure. They fought like titans, blows and slashes being exchanged until the moment came when he found his opening. With a swift blow he slew his enemy and roared with triumph. However when he surveyed the battlefield he saw death everywhere. His followers dying to the last, and with no shame expressed, Valka fled knowing he had his victory. As he took flight he noticed his existential form ebbing and flowing from the physical plain, he felt thin and began to feel the tips of skeletal fingers around his soul. Nagash has come to claim what was his and so it was, he became an eternal warrior, never able to quench his thirst for battle and in eternal servitude to Nagash![04:27]
