In the Bone Desert, a singular castle made of the bones of the titans that once were, a Ghoul King lives with the last of his loyal subjects. Voradresh Of Trineia was once the Prince of a long dinasty of Kings of the once great kingdom of Trinea, until a cursed blight killed all their Cattle, throwing he and his people into madness and despair. In the time of lack of hope, Voradresh proposed himself to go to a nearby kingdom ask for help, despite the protests of his father and Grandmother of how dangerous the travel would be, the Virtuoso would go, with only a few of his loyal Royal Guard and his advisor and best friend. He can’t remind himself of the details of how it happened, but they were ambushed during the trip All he remembers is the legion of cackling spirits and crying banshees screaming on his ears until everything went black. When he waked up, his loyal soldiers were telling him on how they were able to repel the attack with the help of a retinue of knights send from the nearby kingdom! Voradresh went back to Trinea with the reinforcement and food that the knights brought with them only to find it a wasteland. One of the peasants came to tell him the unfurtunate truth: the King was dead. Voradresh now remained alone, with the knights and his last remaining subjects, with 2 objectives: taking revenge on the host of spirits that destroyed his kingdom and rebuilding it. Of course, this is how he remembers things. In reality he died that day, reraised as a Ghoul Abhorrent by the dark energies of necromancy. The Knights were just disgusting Ghasts and Haunters and his last remaining citizens just regular ghouls.
Although unlike most Ghouls Voradresh remained with a greater degree of sanity, still remaining with his very noble like behavior and still seing other undead as disguting creatures unworthy of pit, he is still a ghoul, and therefore, still mad. Voradresh believes himself to still be human and will take great offense on anyone who even triest to sugest that he is undead and also believes the ghoul of his kingdom to also be living people still. He still eats only the best of food, even though he doesn’t have too, still demands to be respected and treated like royalty by the people around him and still does various things living people do like washing, doing (horrible) art, etc. He also has a really long list of titles, and by the gods, does he enjoy to say them one by one.
