Sorrah Nikos’ acquiescence to the Seraphon, even if it secured her the city of Civilia’s Ruin, has not gone down well with her chaotic counterparts. The Wrathful and the Templars have both resolved to see her removed as alliances break down. Additionally the Steel Fangs have gone on the hunt further South – not in search of the Fae, but rather in search of Orruks, in revenge for their fallen.
The Templars of Our Burning Saviour’s main goal since arriving in Civilia’s Ruin had been the protection of the Void Shield. But, thanks to the actions of Nikos, a betrayal in the eyes of the Templars, they have since left Sorrah’s side – leaving her with even less allies then before. The Templar Captain could not help but spit on the ground at the mere thought. They had fought and bled for Nikos, and in the end, she had just given the Seraphon what they desired. They wished to see her burn.
But the Templars have been busy elsewhere as well. Currently unknown to those within the ruins of Civilia, their Archprophetess Sytarith has actually gained control over the Shifting Monolith within the Furyoth Dell. How the Templars intend to use it remains to be seen.
Brinnock – the apex of Sigmar’s bold advance into Rondhol – has been engulfed by the most ferocious Waaagh! seen in over a century. There has yet to be any correspondence out of the city. To make matters worse, entire battalions of Dawnbringer soldiers have been encircled by an increasing amount of enemies.
The Kraken Blades have entered the remains of the Beastgrave – their success is unknown, but those within Khardhir that understand their goals are skeptical of their success with everything else going on right now.
With the Continent within the grip of war, it seems most have ignored the Fae threat. To make matters worse in fact, the Briarbrood have joined with them! Wholesale giving themselves over to the whims of this enemy-of-all, they are now adamant to do all in their power to keep Khardhir grounded.
And it does seem as if Khardhir may well stay that way. Although Khardhir now has the first section of the Xarlanth, the void shield, their forces have failed to capitalise on the current situation or send any forces at all to combat the Fae and retrieve the artefact that will lift their city afloat again.
So, the Svlind continues its movement to crush the opposite shore – no one seems to be in a position to stop it, or even really care at all.
